David Hinchliffe‘s journey as an artist began when he retired from Australian politics. He simply “marie kondoed” his life. David’s process was simple: visit a city and paint a city. What began as an idea has grown into an experience far beyond what he might have imagined. He is now represented and 13 galleries across the globe, in cities such as London, New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, and several other cities in Australia. In New York, he has had four solo exhibitions at (Michael Ingbar) Gallery on Broadway in Soho and five group exhibitions as part of the New York Affordable Art Fair.
